Environmental concerns are gaining more attention and we want to do our part, so we’re “Going Green”!  We have worked to eliminate wasteful printing of many reports and would like to encourage you to take advantage of the services we are offering to our customers. 

More and more of our customers are opting to receive their monthly account statements electronically, rather than in paper form.  As well as saving the paper for the statement,  you will receive your statement much more quickly than if it is mailed.  For instance, if your statement is printed on Friday, you may not receive it until Tuesday or Wednesday through regular mail.  Receiving your statement via email would make it available the next day. 

Electronic statements are safe and secure and are available in 2 options.  First, you could receive them through your online banking account.  This requires you  to simply sign in to your account and view the statement using your browser.  The second option would send the statement to an email account of your choosing (it can be Yahoo, MSN, Hotmail, or any other email account).  This option would send a password protected, encrypted Adobe PDF file directly to your Inbox.  You would only need Adobe Acrobat to open and view the statement.  Adobe Acrobat can be downloaded at no cost through the internet and comes pre-installed on many new computers.
